START TO FINISH TAIL RECONSTRUCTION ON TOP SHOW STALLION ~ OLD TAIL INJURY

Start to finish on a grey tail.

This tail was reported to have lasted many months. Proper care.

CHESTNUT WITH FLAXEN MANE

Let me share a funny story with this one. This is the exact same flaxen horse shown further up this page. Pictured here was the original reconstruction. The following reconstruction taught me a valuable time saving lesson. Never presume anything!!! As i arrived with the left over hair from the previous fitting i was stunned to realize the horse was now far more chestnut with far less blonde than the 6 weeks before. (mane had been pulled removing far more of the lighter colors). So there was a rush on to source and prepare in time for the show.

BEAUTIFUL BAY MARE ~ RUG DAMAGE

This stunning mare has modeled for several students in the past.

A firm favorite to work with.

This is typical of the problems i see between the Welsh Cob breed VS rugs. With their naturally thick set neck the rug damage can leave the owner despaired come show season.

BAY MARE WITH BLACK MANE RECONSTRUCTION AFTER FOAL CHEWINING

Stunning show mare showing off her proud mummy stripes, in her case a half chewed mane. The youngster was highly amused by the reconstruction and even spent most of the session on mums back observing Lisa's work and testing her concentration skills.

TRAINING DAY IN PRESTON TRIALING A NEW TECHNIQUE WITH STUDENTS ~ TAIL INJURY

Extremely common injury on the tail. This horse had a small wound underneath the tail bone which later led to infection and loss of hair to 90% of the tail.

We used this horse as a model at our Preston Lancashire training day in order to attempt to give this lovely mare her fly swisher back.
